Wildleaf, a new fast-casual health-conscious concept, will “soft open” in Buckhead Saturday, January 14, Owner David Morse in an email this week told What Now Atlanta.

“Essentially, the plan is to start with three relatively slow days – Saturday, Sunday and MLK Monday – to make sure we have things running as smoothly as possible,” Morse said.

“Then we hope to really hit our stride on Tuesday when everyone returns to their offices.”

The kitchen at the take-away only Wildleaf, in Terminus at 3280 Peachtree Road, will be helmed by Randy Lewis, formerly of The Southern Gentleman and Gypsy Kitchen.

The concept is intended to be similar to other health-oriented eateries such as Sweetgreen, but “more tailored to the Atlanta palate.”

Though not all ingredients will be local and organic, Wildleaf will consistently offer such ingredients and menu items on rotation seasonally.

For dessert, the eatery will serve up frozen yogurt, including a green tea flavor with healthy toppings such as granola.

Wildleaf will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wildleaf was originally slated to open in fall 2016.
