This will be Chopt’s first Atlanta-area restaurant to feature self-service ordering kiosks to make in-store pickup and delivery quick and convenient. The menu includes salads, warm bowls and wraps.

“Brookhaven is a small town with easy access to the big city, making it an ideal location for the contactless store model for locals commuting downtown for work, families on the go, or those looking for a quick bite,” Chopt co-founder Colin McCabe said in a news release. “Since first opening in the Atlanta area five years ago, we’ve developed meaningful relationships with the community through our past Chopt Gives partners, including HOPE Atlanta and Atlanta Community Food Bank, alongside our Georgia-based farmers like Pure Flavor and look forward to establishing even more local partnerships as we grow.”

As an opening tradition, Chopt will celebrate “Chopt Gives Day” the day before the official opening (Feb. 20, 2024) by donating 100 percent of the day’s sales to a local nonprofit, Foodwell Alliance, an organization focused on providing resources and supporting local growers across metro Atlanta. Guests are encouraged to participate in the event by placing orders online or through the Chopt app from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

“We are thrilled to partner with a restaurant that prioritizes sourcing locally,” Food Well Alliance Executive Director Kate Conner said. “Chopt’s donation of all sales on ‘Chopt Gives Day’ reinforces their value of locally grown food and will go a long way in supporting local growers across metro Atlanta.”

The restaurant will be open 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. At about 1,900 square feet, the location will have seating for 74 guests total, with both an indoor dining area and an outdoor patio.

Chopt was founded in New York City in 2001 by McCabe and Tony Shure. It has expanded to a family of more than 85 restaurants in New York, Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina, with more to come soon.
