The fitness franchise will replace Torq Cycle in West Midtown, at 935 Marietta Street NW, in the 935M apartment mid-rise.

“Vibe Ride Westside” is a joint venture between Vibe Ride Grant Park Franchisees Albert and Shawn Ware, and the company’s Co-Founders Courtney Anderson and Tiffany McKenzie.

Joining these current studio owners in the venture are Vibe Ride members Katherina Ferguson, Ashley Hanna-Holloway, and Calvin and Nicole McAllister.

The partners closed on the Torq Cycle space Friday, Anderson in an email told What Now Atlanta.

“Vibe Ride Westside is proud to continue the tradition of supporting the West Midtown community that Owners Alex and Katie Martinez started with Torq, and looks forward to working closely with them to grow what they cultivated with their fitness studio,” Anderson said in a prepared statement.

The fitness studio specializes in indoor cycling and features “state-of-the-art” sound and lighting.

Key components to the company’s fitness program include “high-energy, motivating workouts paired with music videos, live DJs and performance metrics that provide real-time fitness data.”

The company will open a Detroit, Michigan studio on July 20, 2019, Vibe Ride’s fourth overall.
