UPDATE (June 19, 2018): Gusto! Reveals Details, Opening Timeline For West Midtown Center Outpost
West Midtown Center, more commonly known as Northside & 17th, has secured a lease with Gusto! for what will be the restaurant’s fourth Atlanta-area location.
After teasing the location on a secretive Instagram story, a spokesperson for the “local-born brand” confirmed the news in an email Thursday to What Now Atlanta (WNA).
“Gusto! will be opening in [West Midtown Center late-fall] and the size of the space will reflect a new, smaller model,” the spokesperson said.
The concept, which offers a menu of grilled proteins served on a bed of lettuce, rice, or in a wrap, and tossed with a “gusto,” a “crafted blend of ingredients, adding to each entrée a distinct flavor profile and texture,” has existing locations in Brookwood, Virginia-Highland, and a soon-to-open North Decatur outpost.
Owner Nate Hybl in an email to WNA hinted at other “in-the-works” locations which, like the Instagram post, were meant to wet our appetites only.
Fuqua’s under-construction mixed-use project, at 1299 Northside Drive, will be home to concepts like a new McAlister’s Deli prototype, Blaze Pizza, Zaxby’s, and will be anchored by Kroger.
