Club DiOGi, a 4,000-square-foot boutique members-only doggy daycare and boarding facility for dogs less than 35 pounds, is in the permitting process with the City to open in Lindridge-Martin Manor neighborhood of Atlanta.

“Once you drive around to the entrance of our building, one can almost forget they are in the city,” Courtney DeDi, CEO of Club DiOGi, Wednesday in an email told What Now Atlanta.

“Surrounded by a canopy of greenery and situated on the Peachtree Creek, it’s a perfect escape for our clients’ dogs to come stay and play.”

Club DiOGi, at 2080 Chesire Bridge Road NE, could open in August, according to DeDi who also runs DiOGi Pet Services—a dog walking, pet sitting and in-home training company—with her wife Katie Lyman.

“Club members are required to commit to at least one consistent day per week so the dogs can create friendships with other club members,” DeDi said.

“The playgroups will be small and organized by age, temperament and play style and rotated throughout the day giving our club members structured breaks where they will enjoy treat puzzles, classical music and aromatherapy in our cozy, relaxing suites. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, and so are the breaks.”

The Club will be staffed 24/7 and webcams will be available for parents of club members to view at any time. There will also be group dog training classes with a CPDT-KA certified dog trainer.

The classes are open to all sized dogs.

A taxi service will be available for clients who live within two miles of the facility and full grooming will be offered and open to dogs of all sizes.

There will also be a small retail area with dog training supplies, collars, leashes, harnesses and a variety of treats.
