The breakfast and brunch restaurant, known for serving “Breakfast but Different,” is housed in West Midtown, at 980 Howell Mill Road in the Osprey development — which was recently acquired by Equity Residential. Its first day open to the public was Wednesday, September 1 joining the market’s first Snooze in Sandy Springs.

The 153-seat indoor and outdoor restaurant teamed up with local Atlanta artist, Kendall McCann, to design a mural that will be the centerpiece of the space. Inspired by Snooze’s ongoing “Everyone is Welcome at Our Table” initiative, the mural celebrates diversity, inclusion, and acceptance, the spokesperson said.

“Snooze’s mission extends far beyond serving delicious food and drinks and places emphasis on supporting each of their communities,” the spokesperson said. “Every pre-opening weekend, Snooze hosts ‘Community Days’ and partners with local non-profit organizations to host breakfast benefits for each as a way for Snooze to show their dedication to local causes and meet their new community.”

In August, guest contributions and proceeds raised over $3,700 which was directly donated to Lost-n-Found Youth and Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. In celebration of the 50th opening, Snooze is donating an additional $5,000 split between each organization to further its commitment to the Atlanta community.

Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2006 by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel, Snooze currently has 50 locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Texas.

The restaurant’s fall menu will include options like the Pumpkin Pecan Pie Pancakes with a vanilla cream cheese filling, topped with caramel sauce, a drizzle of sweet cream, candied pecans, and powdered sugar, and the L.E.O. Scramble with three cage-free eggs scrambled with lox-style salmon, yellow onions and topped with fresh dill served with toasted rustic bread, a side of green goddess cream cheese and fried capers.

Menu mainstays include the Funky Monkey French Toast with griddled slices of bananas, white chocolate chips, caramel sauce, candied pecans and topped with whipped mascarpone and a bruleed banana and the Breakfast Pot Pie, a riff on a classic chicken pot pie with a breakfast twist, featuring Snooze’s homemade rosemary sausage gravy, topped with a cage-free sunny side up egg and served with hash browns.
