Project Developer Lincoln Property Company points to the rise in jobs and investment from tech companies, such as Microsoft’s forthcoming Westside campus, as the key driver for apartment demand in the area, according to a press release Tuesday.

“Multifamily follows jobs and we’ve seen a behavioral shift in wanting to live where you work,” Tony Bartlett, executive vice president at Lincoln Property Company, said. “Vibe is at the forefront of catering to the new post-pandemic lifestyle – situated in an open-air, walkable village where you can work from anywhere, shop, eat local, and connect with the community. It’s an approachable, connected design that feels unique to this part of Atlanta.”

Vibe, drawn from the word vibration and its association with sound (i.e. Echo), aims to be “more than just a place to live — it’s a place to experience.” Amenities will include a “maker’s room,” pet spa, podcast studio and nearly 4,000 square feet of rooftop space. Vibe also has numerous entries and exits as part of Echo Street West’s “no front door” concept, integrating the resident experience with the rest of the village’s retail, restaurant, entertainment, and green space amenities.

There will also be a fully-equipped fitness room, outdoor courtyard ideal for open-air workouts, and a bike storage area with the repair shop, suited for up to 100 bikes. Rooftop decks and balconies with views of the BeltLine, wine fridges, a pool with cabanas, and direct access to street-level retail (located below the building) are additional resident amenities.

“Vibe brings a unique and much-desired living experience to the Westside,” Chris Burns, senior vice president at Lincoln Property Company, said. “Convenience is a premium and Vibe has everything you need just steps from your front door. Whether it’s to grab a quick bite to eat, take a jog down the BeltLine or venture over to the office, Vibe sits at the epicenter of activity.”

Vibe, designed by Dwell Design Studio, is now under construction and pre-leasing will begin later this summer. First resident move-ins are slated for the end of the year.

In addition to Vibe at Echo Street West, the first phase of the multi-phase mixed-use development includes Westside Motor Lounge, an entertainment-driven concept slated to open later this spring, as well as 300,000 square feet of office space, 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, an events venue, artist colony, and 3.4 acres of outdoor entertainment and greenspace.
