Sliders Burger Joint to Open Takeout Spot at Shannon Crossing

The Union City takeout joint will be the first of many to-go operations that owners Ashley and Paris Hill are planning.

Fairburn’s Sliders Burger Joint may specialize in small burgers, but they’ve got big plans ahead. The burger spot has signed a lease at 4550 Jonesboro Road, at Kroger-anchored Shannon Crossing in Union City, and plans to open a second location there within the coming months.

Sliders Burger Joint serves up burgers — both big and small — of all kinds, including beef, salmon, chicken, and shrimp burgers. Personally, we like to keep it classic and messy (the way a burger should be, if you ask us) with their sloppy chilly cheese sliders, which are topped with homemade chili and smothered in cheddar cheese.

The new spot, unlike the original, will be take-out only — a concept owners Ashley and Paris Hill are planning to execute in multiple new locations in the near future. Union City, Ashley Hill says, is their first stop along the way.

“It’s such a nice area,” says Hill. “And we’ve got more Sliders to-go locations in the works.”

As for their original full-service spot in Fairburn, Hill says they’re planning to franchise. Soon, there could be a whole handful of Sliders Burger Joints across the state, but for now, we’ve got our eye set on their takeout joint, which should hopefully be open by September.
