The donut shop is one of several recently announced brands that will be opening at Medley, a 43-acre mixed-use destination coming to Johns Creek.

The bakery business from Tennessee is known for its croissant-style 100-layer donuts and other sweet treats. Five Daughters Bakery can be found at Ponce City Market and Westside Provisions, and a location is also in the works at Avalon in Alpharetta, What Now Atlanta previously reported.

“Our treats are made daily from scratch, sourcing locally and fresh whenever possible, from our family to yours,” according to the company website, which also states that they don’t use chemical preservatives, genetically modified organisms, hydrogenated oils, or artificial colors or flavors.

Other restaurant and retail concepts recently announced for Medley are 26 Thai Kitchen and Bar, Drybar, Minnie Olivia, Burdlife, Amorino, Pause, Fogón and Lions, and Clean Your Dirty Face. The additions join several previously announced tenants.

Toro Development Company acquired the site in March. The project is set to break ground later this year, with the first phase opening expected in Q3 2026. The first phase will include approximately 180,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space; 108,000 square feet of lifestyle office space; 340 multifamily residences; 133 townhomes; and a plaza.

The development is now more than 50 percent leased, according to the announcement.

“We have seen insatiable demand from new-to-market and chef-driven concepts who believe in our vision for Medley and are committed to creating something special for the Johns Creek community,” said TDC’s Vice President of Leasing Kimberly Goetz. “Our carefully curated tenant mix will deliver a ‘Third Place’ experience that brings people together, and we’re excited to keep building on this momentum.”

Medley is located at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and McGinnis Ferry Road.
