Owner Heather Wallace is passionate about health and wellness, so she’s excited to bring Flo & Glo to Atlanta.
“I was so excited to have a place locally in the city I love to offer something beyond an incredible service, but an incredible experience,” she told What Now Atlanta. “There are so many implications and benefits for IV hydration use. Whether you desire a boost of energy, aid in immunity, help with that hangover, getting over that sickness, nutrition supplementation, or just pursuing overall health and wellness, this is for you!”
Flo & Glo offers a variety of IV treatments, including options to help strengthen the immune system, boost metabolism, increase energy, aid in muscle recovery and more.
Wallace has battled many health challenges, including a major surgery that brought on complications and a rare condition called IIH that damaged her optic nerves. She experienced a complete loss of vision, and she was scheduled for brain surgery. Despite grim reports, Wallace held onto her faith.
And then… she healed. The surgery was cancelled.
Wallace has spent the last seven years as a coach in the health and wellness space to help others reach their own health goals. She discovered IV hydration when a friend suggested she get an IV with a vitamin infusion during a physically and emotionally challenging time in her life.
“I did just that and the next day I felt amazing,” she said. “I continued to use them a couple of times a month. Anytime I felt run down, or like I was catching something. If I was traveling or dealing with a hectic schedules, I would prioritize the IV as my self-care. I have never experienced so many benefits in my immune function and energy levels.”
Flo & Glo currently has two locations in Louisiana, with another one on the way.
The Flo & Glo in Atlanta will be located at 2345 Cheshire Bridge Road NE, in the same shopping center as Big House Guitars, The Original Pancake House and the Tara Atlanta movie theater. It will aim to offer a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere for pampering and self-care.
More locations could be on the way in the future.
“While our first location will receive our utmost attention and care, we look forward to expansion into other areas of Atlanta,” Wallace said.
Flo & Glo is set to open on July 1, 2024. Appointments are available now online.
