The Mall of Georgia is getting new salon space.
MY SALON Suite is under construction now at the Buford shopping center. The location will have 33 suites with the ability to expand to 40. The salon is taking over second-floor space that was formerly a Charming Charlie.
Owner Lee Brody, who also opened a location of MY SALON Suite in downtown Athens in 2023, told What Now Atlanta the new space is expected to open in early August.
The first MY SALON Suite location opened in Louisiana in 2010. The franchise now has more than 350 locations. MY SALON Suite features fully equipped individual suites for beauty professionals offering a variety of services. Tenants can customize their space to fit their tastes and needs.
The upcoming salon at the Mall of Georgia is currently more than 80 percent pre-leased.
The Mall of Georgia is located at 3333 Buford Drive in Gwinnett County. The shopping center has more than 200 stores.
