The ice cream chain on Thursday submitted a permit application to the City of Atlanta to build out a nearly 1,400-square-foot space in The Collective at The Coda.

The Collective, at 756 West Peachtree Street NW, is a food hall in the Tech Square mixed-use development with at least eight tenant spaces, according to its latest site plan.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams representative Leah Eaton would not confirm the plans when reached via email by What Now Atlanta (WNA) Friday.

“At this time, we have no information to share but will be sure to let you know if that changes,” Eaton said.

Construction would cost an estimated $130,000, according to the plans.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, which is set to begin building out a new location in Buckhead, would join Wildleaf, El Burro Pollo, Poke Burri, and Aviva by Kameel in The Collective.

It would be the company’s sixth Atlanta-area location assuming the Buckhead scoop shop opens first.

Existing locations are in Alpharetta, Decatur, Inman Park, and West Midtown.

Representatives for SRS Real Estate Partners, the firm managing retail leasing for The Coda, when reached by WNA Friday did not comment on the permit filing.
