The new Jeni’s will open in the Stove Works building, at 112 Krog St NE, Suite 115, which is adjacent to Krog Street Market, the shopping and dining center where Jeni’s has its first Inman Park location.

Stove Works and Krog Street Market, acquired by Asana Partners in 2018, will join two new buildings to collectively create “Krog District” under the Charlotte-based developer’s direction.

Although the new Jeni’s is a stone’s throw from its Krog Street Market location, both locations will operate coincidingly, the Atlanta Business Chronicle confirmed with the ice cream company’s Head of Marketing.

An estimated $350,000 will be spent building out the 1,000 square-foot Jeni’s, according to a building permit application recently submitted to the City of Atlanta.

Jeni’s was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning ice cream maker Jeni Britton. The company uses Direct and Fair Trade ingredients and milk from family dairies. Jeni’s has 64 scoop shops, eight of which are in the Atlanta area, according to the company’s website.
