Avize is proposed for Stockyards, a mixed-use complex on Brady Avenue, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The restaurant is about 2,200 square feet, according to the documents. Drawings indicate plans for a bar and private dining space.

The restaurant comes from Chef Karl Gorline, who told What Now Atlanta they’re not ready to make any official comments yet.

According to an Atlanta Botanical Garden event posting from April, Avize could open later this summer. The restaurant will “explore the unique blend of cultures and flavors that make up the European Alps region,” with ingredients from a farm south of Atlanta.
