The grill-your-own-meats concept will open in space most recently occupied by The Pub, sandwiched between Cowfish and Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria, the Dunwoody Mall’s directory indicates.
It’s unclear when Breakers Korean BBQ will open its Dunwoody doors.
David Kim, the restaurant chain’s co-founder and a 7th District congressional candidate, did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s requests for comment.
“Breakers is ‘breaking’ the mold of traditional Korean BBQ by utilizing the highest quality meats, ingredients, technology, and hospitality in a luxurious atmosphere,” Kim says on the company website.
“Our mission is to provide our patrons with an experience in Korean culture through a fine-dining setting without sacrificing taste, quality, and service.”
Attempts to reach leasing representatives for General Growth Properties (GPP), Perimeter Mall’s developer, were also unsuccessful.
Breakers Korean BBQ has five existing locations across California, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia, according to the company’s website.
