The new restaurant joins the existing tenant mix of national retailers, local merchants, and specialty restaurants at the center including Books-A-Million, Ted’s Montana Grill, Victoria’s Secret, and more.

“We are very excited to add 9292 Korean BBQ to our diverse dining options at The Avenue Peachtree City,” Jessica Peterson, marketing coordinator at The Avenue Peachtree City, said in a press release. “We are sure guests will be ecstatic to have a local authentic Korean BBQ experience closer to home without the need to travel to the northside.”

“We are beyond thrilled to bring local authentic style Korean BBQ to The Avenue Peachtree City,” John Kim, owner of 9292 Korean BBQ, said in the release. “With a dining experience unlike any other, we look forward to serving the community later this year.”

Adriana Park, the manager of sister eatery D92 in Decatur and Athens, told What Now Atlanta she left a corporate job during the pandemic to join the growing restaurant brand.

“I love our owners,” Park said. “They take care of their staff which is really important to me and they’re open to changes; whatever the customers want. They actually listen to feedback and enact change.”

In addition to its customer service, Park says 9292 Korean BBQ’s meats are a cut above. “We have amazing barbecue,” Park said. “There are other options out there, but one thing that separates us is the quality of the meat we use. The brisket is exquisitely marbled, the pork belly has incredible layers, and we have a really good spicy chicken.”

Located between Jos A. Bank and Victoria’s Secret, the space will be converted from retail to restaurant format. This announcement comes on the heels of Mayweather Boxing and Super Chix joining the Avenue Peachtree City.
