Legacy Ventures will debut its second Atlanta-area location of Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria on January 12.
The Perimeter Mall situated pizzeria will open its doors at 11 a.m., a manager at the original Downtown location Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
The pizzeria—announed in February—was supposed to open this past summer.
Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria replaces Varasano’s Pizza at the General Growth Properties-owned mall outside the perimeter.
Varasano’s shuttered its Perimeter Mall doors mid-2016.
Legacy is the restaurant group behind STATS Brewpub (formerly Stats Food & Drink), Game-X, Twin Smokers BBQ, Glenn’s Kitchen, SkyLounge at the Glenn Hotel, Der Biergarten, Ventanas, City View Room, Legacy Catering and Events and Legacy Test Kitchen.
