The departure from 931 Monroe Drive NE is part of a planned renovation and remerchandising effort underway by Midtown Promenade’s new owner Asana Partners.

In addition to Tuesday Morning in Midtown, Richard’s Variety Store, another one of the center’s anchor tenants, is also set to close as part of the overhaul.

Asana Partners, a Charlotte-based developer that’s been scooping up Atlanta real estate projects left and right, has not formally announced plans for Midtown Promenade’s overhaul and will not respond to WNA’s request for comment.

Michael Wirsching of ASD | SKY on behalf of Asana Partners in September met with the Atlanta BeltLine Design Review Committee to present the renovation plans, according to a published meeting agenda.

The proposed scope of work includes building improvements ranging from minor exterior paint and fabric canopy upgrades to more “substantial” façade material and proportion changes, and “improved access” to the BeltLine Corridor.

Tuesday Morning is also shuttering its Buckhead Square outpost ahead of the 2020 new year, a manager at the store confirmed with WNA.

Patrons Wednesday were notified of the planned closures via email.

Currently, the entire store is 10 percent off, and is “final sale.” An exact last day is TBD, they said.
