Owner Jacob Hussein is in permitting with the City of Atlanta to get the necessary approvals to buildout the new restaurant in Chastain Square.
Sahara Cafe will be situated in Suite 36, a 1,500-square-foot space sandwiched between Supercuts and Swoozie’s in the Publix-anchored shopping center, at 4285 Roswell Road.
“After 15 years of trying to perfect our recipes, it’s time to test out my food against the best,” Hussein in an email Thursday told What Now Atlanta.
“It’s been a goal of mine to enter a tougher and larger market.”
The fast-casual Greek and Lebanese grill could soft-open in mid-December with a grand opening in January 2020, he said.
