Parent company Fork U Concepts last week submitted a permit application to the City of Atlanta to build out the Latin-Asian eatery in the Madison Yards development.

An estimated $180,000 will be spent converting suite 212, a 3,257-square-foot white box space in building 200 of Madison Yards, into the new Taqueria Tsunami, according to the plans.

What Now Atlanta in February first uncovered plans for the Latin-Asian eatery in the new Fuqua mixed-use.

The forthcoming restaurant, at 915 Memorial Drive, will be the ninth location for the company, following the opening of a Peachtree Corners outpost (pictured above).

Tenants in Madison Yards this summer have started opening for business.

Publix, one of the center’s anchors, debuted late-June, 2019.

A timeline for the new Taqueria Tsunami has not been disclosed, but an early-2020 opening is likely.
