Latin-Asian fusion restaurant Taqueria Tsunami is closer to opening in Buford.
A permit was recently filed in Gwinnett County to bring the restaurant to 2925 Buford Dr., as part of the Exchange @ Gwinnett project. The location will be about 2,800 square feet, according to the permit.
Taqueria Tsunami is part of the restaurant group Fork U Concepts, which also operates Stockyard Burgers and Bones, Forno Vero and Silla Del Toro.
What Now Atlanta reached out to Scott Kinsey, who runs Fork U Concepts with his wife, Alexis Aleshire-Kinsey, for more information about the Buford location but didn’t immediately hear back.
Taqueria Tsunami currently has nine locations, according to its website. Its menu features a variety of bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads that blend “Far East and South of the Border” flavors.
Exchange @ Gwinnett will feature a host of other hospitality concepts, including Pickle & Social, as What Now Atlanta reported in October.
