The Houston-based concept this week filed plans with the City of Atlanta to build out space in The Hub (formerly The Mall at Peachtree Center) for the new Salata.
An estimated $170,000 will be spent constructing the 1,700-square-foot restaurant space Downtown.
The build-your-own salad chain has 40 locations across Texas, California, Illinois, and Oklahoma, in addition to the new Georgia stores.
Locally, the salad concept has outposts in Atlantic Station, Glenridge Point, and the soon-to-open East Cobb location.
Once open, guests can choose from a selection of more than 50 vegetable toppings, dressings, fruits, cheeses, fish, chicken and turkey and egg, croutons, bacon and pasta and protein options.
Also on the menu are soups, desserts, lemonade, and teas.
At The Hub, Salata joins other soon-to-open concepts like Bep!, Beni’s Cubano, The Southern Candy Company, and Taste of India.
All five new restaurants will open on the Gallery Level of The Hub, located directly under the courtyard and at the center of the renovation project, joining Aviva By Kameel, Panbury’s, Chick-fil-A and Yami Yami.

Brookhaven is doing the right thing by looking to extend downtown. The people who live there can afford to visit these escape games regularly, and it won’t make a scratch on their wallet. It is ideal for them.
