Rothschild confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta.

The 300-square-foot market, at 1650 Washington Road, is targeting a mid-March debut.

The tiny East Point market will retail locally made goods from different purveyors of eats like bread, pasta, chocolate, and pies, and is an extension of the Jake’s Ice Creams planned for that space.

“Jake’s is going to have a significant presence, but this concept better serves needs of the community,” Rothschild said.

While a patio and picnic area will be open when its warm out, items are meant to be taken on-the-go.
