Tang, the owner of Char Korean Bar & Grill in the Inman Quarter development, confirmed the news in a telephone interview with What Now Atlanta.

“We always try to bring something with an authentic feel while delivering a fun dining experience,” Tang said of the yet-to-be-named restaurant.

On the menu will be “crawfish, crab legs—an Asian seafood boil.”

The 2,500-square-foot space—plus a 700-square-foot patio—sits directly across from where the AMC movie theatre will be situated, he said.

Tang expects to get access to the Madison Yards site in 2018 to begin the build out on the Asian seafood house.

How will the new concept compare to Char?

“There’s always going to be some elements that will cross over but Char is a steakhouse and the new concept is a seafood house.”

Renderings and details as they unfold.

In related news, plans last week were filed to build the shell in Madison Yards that will house Publix.
