Halcyon’s Lizard Thicket will be the twenty-seventh location for the brand in the U.S., occupying approximately 3,000 square feet in the development’s “village.”

“At Lizard Thicket, our goal is to constantly stay ahead of the fashion game and provide our customers with unique products and an outstanding in-store experience that they can’t find anywhere else,” Lori Anne and Whitney McKissick, the franchisees for the forthcoming Lizard Thicket, said in a prepared statement.

“Halcyon’s unique community focus, strong support of small businesses, and future-ready retail atmosphere makes it the perfect place for our newest Lizard Thicket boutique, and we are looking forward to moving into our new home at Halcyon.”

In the boutique, set to open alongside the Halcyon development March 23, 2019, only six pieces of each clothing style will be carried, guaranteeing “that its stylish clientele can wear Lizard Thicket threads with confidence that their wardrobe is as unique as they are.”

Lizard Thicket was founded by Sheri Waynick in 1981.

Each Lizard Thicket employee and franchise owner is hand-selected and actively involved in community service work.

“Lizard Thicket is one of the most community-focused businesses we’ve seen, and we know they are going to be a fantastic addition to Halcyon and Forsyth County,” Phil Mays, principal of RocaPoint Partners, the developer behind the mixed-use project, said.

“Lizard Thicket will add to the uniqueness of Halcyon by bringing a fashion-forward concept that can’t be compared to anything else. We look forward to welcoming them to Halcyon next year.”

Halcyon is currently under construction and will open on March 23, 2019.

RocaPoint Partners and New York-based The Georgetown Company make up the development team and JLL Retail manages the retail leasing efforts.

Once complete, the project will include approximately 480,000 square feet of office and retail space, a dine-in movie theatre, two hotels and 690 residential units.
