The new 5,300-square-foot Chick-fil-A is currently under construction and located in Halcyon’s Phase III.

Owner/operator Colby Cameron said the restaurant is expected to open the first or second week of April. The team also operates the Chick-fil-A location at 5180 Windward Parkway in Alpharetta.

Chick-fil-A has more than 3,000 locations in 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and Canada. The menu includes the classic chicken sandwiches the brand is known for, along with waffle fries, nuggets, salads, shakes and more.

Another fast-food restaurant, this one serving burgers, was announced as a tenant for Phase III of the mixed-use Halcyon development. Five Guys will be in a 13,000-square-foot building adjacent to the Chick-fil-A. The building will be home to several retailers, including a new Chase Bank, set to open this fall.

Halcyon Phase III is also set to include a “high-end grocer” that will be announced later this year, according to the announcement. There has been speculation that Trader Joe’s could be the store in question, but no plans have been confirmed by the grocer yet.

“Everything we do at Halcyon is for the local community,” said Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners, the project developer. “These well-known additions offer convenience and the comfort of familiarity to our Forsyth County neighbors. Phase III at Halcyon is moving full steam ahead, and we look forward to more announcements to come.”
