On the heels of opening in Buckhead and in the throes of planning its debut in Midtown, the ice cream purveyor has officially submitted a permit application to the City for a scoop shop in Glenwood Park.
Plans call for a sizable 1,230-square-foot corner storefront adjacent to a nail salon, at 925 Garrett Street and fronting Bill Kenedy Way, for the new Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.
Construction is expected to total around $300,000, and post buildout will bring the total number of Atlanta locations of the ice cream shop to six.
The new Jeni’s will open directly across the street from Gunshow and cattywampus from the recently-announced Vesper Bond-inspired bar.

Asana Partners in 2018 acquired the multi-building development from Coro Realty, inheriting its 48,632 square feet of ground-level commercial space.
Reps for SRS Real Estate Partners, the firm leasing Glenwood Park on behalf of Asana, confirmed the new Jeni’s in an email to What Now Atlanta Thursday.
Jeni’s and its PR folks were radio silent which is typical of the Ohio-based chain.

This is not in Sandy Springs, this is in Dunwoody. Joey D’s it’s not in perimeter place. Shops of Buckhead is 10 miles away and Lenox Square is 7 miles away and are not “close”. Can you please orient your reader to the appropriate places and things?
