Both restaurants will be built out simultaneously in the same space, Owner Barkat Colabawala told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone interview Thursday.

“Our opening date looks like it’s going to be toward the end of February [2020],” Colabawala said.

Building out the conjoined 2,322-square-foot Stoner’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts is expected to cost an estimated $600,000.

Developed by South City Partners, The Mix features nearly 700 beds for GSU students above 8,200 square feet of retail space that includes an urban format RaceTrac and the forthcoming Stoner’s and Dunkin’ restaurants.

The Mix is at 100 percent occupancy and began move-ins on July 31, 2019, a representative for The Mix shared with WNA over the phone.

Akerman Retail, the retail leasing agents of record for The Mix, did not immediately reply to WNA’s requests for comment regarding the remaining 1,579 square feet of retail space still available on the ground floor.
