Ed Hardy has had its 15 minutes of fame but is riding the wave and putting Jon Gosselin to shame! With designs featuring Japanese style tattoos by famed tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy,  a visit to your local Marshall’s or T.J. Maxx will turn up plenty of gaudy Ed Hardy apparel at less outrageous prices (though their buyers are taking the hint and are splurging on Claiborne).

While there may still be a select few consumers with the disposable income to drop hundreds of dollars on Ed Hardy merchandise, we feel more and more are choosing food and shelter over ugly and overpriced. People are realizing that paying hundreds of dollars for a T-shirt and another hundred and fifty for a hat is a bit crazy.  If Ed Hardy wine, lighters and hand sanitizer don’t dilute this once trendy brand, what will?

The store is small but employees have been told by management that they shouldn’t get comfortable as they would be moving to a larger location within Lenox Mall.  The new location? At the bottom of a cliff!

  1. Please please don’t let that “larger location” be the old Mark Shale store. I would say that Simon wouldn’t let that happen, but they let Know Style in the former Polo Ralph Lauren store so I wouldn’t put it past them.

  2. Believe me, I’m at Lenox every weekend, servicing my account, and the Ed Hardy store is always busy. If they weren’t pulling in their numbers, Simon Properties would be looking to move them to a larger, higher profile location. Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead with one of those garments. Have noticed, their styles are changing though.

  3. ed hardy is in the same element as affliction……who wears this sh**……again….wanna be rappers and the real house wives of atlanta (see comment on PURE article). C’mon people…..Ed Hardy belongs in a trailer park outside of Detroit.

  4. ED HARDY IS THAT $HIT!!!! MY CLOSET FULL OF IT!!!! EVERYONE HAS SALE PRICES PEOPLE GEEZH!!! EVERYTHING OVERPRICED YOU HAVE TO LOVE TATTOOS TO LOVE THE ED HARDY BRAND!! I WILL BE AT THIS STORE IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS!! YA KNOW?

  5. Sad to say, this might actually make sense. Have you ever been to what Atlanta views as high-end nightlife? It’s full of dudes in these graphic tees and rhinestone’d button downs. I’m not really sure when glitter because fashion forward, but in Atlanta it has. I guess it kind of speaks to the greater affect of suburbanization that this city constantly grapples with though. A shitty graphic tee company expands into a huge shopping mall, while boutiques in truly urban neighborhoods are forced to shut their doors. Bubba: 1, City of Atlanta: 0.
