SKIMS is proposed for the Buckhead mall, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta.
The estimated cost of construction on the almost 5,000-square-foot space (including the sales floor and stockroom) is $600,000, according to the application. Documents show plans for several fitting rooms. It appears the store would be on the third floor next to Banana Republic and near Bloomingdale’s.
SKIMS is working on expansion into the brick-and-mortar space for the first time with several storefronts across the U.S. It was reported last year that executives were aiming to open at least four stores in 2024, followed by more expansion after those.
Kim Kardashian, Emma Grede and Jens Grede founded the underwear, loungewear and shapewear brand in 2019. The brand has also dipped its toes into swimwear.
In addition to being sold online, the apparel can be found in stores like Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Hopefully we get a Uniqlo oneday
With Pottery Barn’s recent departure, I could see Uniqlo taking that spot. Or, if PB Kids follows them shortly thereafter.
“athletic apparel” Lulz.
This will actually be Sandro and Maje’s second introduction to the Atlanta market, as I was the manager for them both at Bloomingdales Lenox from 2014 til 2016. These are two great Parisian companies with beautiful style to offer Atlanta once again. Excited to see them coming back as an in-line store!!!!
