Emilio’s Tacos & Tequila Bar will make its debut at 1105 West Peachtree. Emilio’s is the eighth concept by Scott McCray and Scott Kerns, co-owners of Let’s Eat and Drink (LEAD) Hospitality Group, the team behind McCray’s Tavern, Hamp & Harry’s and Carolyn’s Café.

The 6,000-square-foot restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the mixed-use tower at the intersection of 13th Street and Peachtree Walk.

Specializing in authentic Mexican cuisine, the menu will include homestyle and street-style tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas and house specialties. There will also be a selection of margaritas.

“We are thrilled to bring the vibrant flavors of Mexico to Midtown Atlanta with the opening of Emilio’s this year,” McCray said in a news release. “Midtown is a dynamic community in the heart of the city, and has been craving the authentic taste of Mexican cuisine in an eclectic setting. We are eager to fill that gap and create a culinary haven that delights and satisfies guests no matter their taste palette.”

1105 West Peachtree is a tri-tower mixed-use district anchored by Google and developed by Selig Enterprises.

“We are excited to have a proven local operator helping us activate an intersection in the heart of Midtown,” said Steve Baile, Chief Operating & Development Officer at Selig. “Midtown continues to be the premier destination for businesses and individuals seeking a vibrant lifestyle with a number of conveniences just steps away, and we’re thrilled to welcome Emilio’s Tacos and Tequila Bar this summer to continue building on the neighborhood’s vibrancy.”
