Construction Resources aims to be a one-stop shop for products and industry expertise for builders, designers, remodelers, general contractors, property managers and homeowners. It offers surfaces, appliances and architectural products, including countertops, flooring, lighting, decorative plumbing, fireplaces and garage doors.

The new design center is expected to open in early 2025.

“Our location at Westside Paper heralds a new era for Construction Resources,” CEO Mitch Hires said in a news release. “We are thrilled to offer a platform where professional contractors and the design community can explore products in a setting that seamlessly merges historic charm with modern convenience in the heart of Atlanta.”

Westside Paper is a 70-year-old former paper manufacturing plant in West Midtown reimagined by Westbridge and FCP. The expansive, light-filled spaces with towering glass and steel windows make it an ideal location for Construction Resources’ product portfolio, according to the news release.

“Before the densification of the core West Midtown market with office and apartment projects, the area was known for its creative design businesses,” said Chris Faussemagne of Westbridge. “Construction Resources will fuel the next chapter of the West Midtown design district.”

Brad Pope with JLL represented Construction Resources in the lease, and Shelbi Bodner with Bridger Properties represented Westside Paper.

In other moves for Construction Resources, a design center is also planned for Buckhead, featuring “everything that Construction Resources has to offer from luxury countertops, smart appliances, high-end lighting, and so much more,” according to the website. The Buckhead design center is expected to open this year.
