An experienced restaurant operating group will be introducing the city to Walk-Ons’ taste of Louisiana and welcoming game-day atmosphere. 
Luis G. Fernandez will be assembling a lineup of vendors for the development, beginning with barbeque restaurant South End Smokehouse.
What began as a pandemic-era passion project has since flourished into a full-grown bakery.
The newest tenant joins a growing list of vendors in the food hall that includes Pastaholics, Mochinut, Gekko Sushi, The Original Hot Dog Factory, and Honeysuckle Gelato.
The recently filed permits call for two restaurants and a rooftop bar in the ambitious, billion-dollar project that’s slowly been taking shape since 2017.
A groundbreaking ceremony with developer North American Properties is set to take place later this month, on Apr 27.
The new changes will allow the space to ‘continue to create food for the Culinary Curious, Culturally Diverse, and those with unique dietary needs as well as keep on offering its mix of pop-ups.’
The new location will take up residence at the corner of Northside Drive NW and 11th Street NW.
Franchise group Purple Square Cafe is also working on a location in Columbus, while a separate franchisee is setting up shop in downtown Atlanta.
The new location will be joining a mixed-use development anchored by a Publix that was first announced in 2021.
