Amici Italian Café to Bring Pizza, Wings, Live Music To Pinewood Forest

Outdoor patio and vintage gaming will round out the Town Center eatery, slated to open in late-2020.

Amici Italian Café is opening an outpost in Pinewood Forest later this year, serving its pizza and wings out of the community’s growing Town Center.

The Pinewood Forest Amici will include an outdoor patio, sports bar, live music, and vintage gaming.

Catering will also be available.

“Choosing Pinewood Forest for our new location made perfect sense,” Amici Italian Café’ Co-Franchisees Jamie Oden and Scott Goodman told What Now Atlanta in a prepared statement Monday.

“The community represents everything we love about our town.”

Bill Lynch of Pace Lynch Realty and Todd Semrau of Oakhurst Realty Partners represented Pinewood Forest in the transaction.

“Let’s face it, we all want to get out of the house and head to our favorite neighborhood restaurant again,” Semrau said.

“With great pizza, cold beer, music, and a big patio, Amici at Pinewood Forest will be the perfect place to do just that.”

Founded in 1995, Amici Italian Café currently has eight locations in Georgia, including Athens, Covington, Lake Oconee, Madison, Milledgeville, Conyers, Monroe and Macon, and a location in Clemson, South Carolina.

A new location in Easley, S.C., shown in the above rendering, will open later this year.

Other concepts already announced for Pinewood Forest’s Town Center include Edwin JarvisSugarcoat NailsNative Beauty Bar salon and boutique, and The Skin Society, plus cuisine from Apple Butter BakeryHoneysuckle GelatoHop City + Barleygarden, and Braise.

Plans also call for a nine-screen movie theatre expected to open in 2021.
