Jekyll Brewing has signed a lease for a two-story restaurant building at 8634 Main St. in Woodstock, according to Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group, who brokered the deal.
The nearly 10,000-square-foot building formerly housed Main & Mill restaurant and Public Woodstock market.
Jekyll Brewing founder Michael Lundmark said the Woodstock location is set to open in December. It will include a brewery, distillery and executive chef kitchen, he said.
“The energy in Woodstock is incredible, and our location on Main and Mill is perfect,” Lundmark said in a text message. “Our brand and our team look forward to serving the people of Woodstock in December 2022. Additionally, we will be opening a speakeasy in the basement of this location in April 2023.”
Jekyll Brewing initially opened in 2013, becoming Alpharetta’s first brewery, according to its website.
It currently operates two locations in Alpharetta. That includes a spot at Alpharetta City Center that opened in late 2019 in a two-level space with a large rooftop deck overlooking the city’s growing downtown. It features a tasting room and restaurant.
Jekyll Brewing is known for its Hop Dang Diggity IPA. It also produces brown ales, lagers and a spiked seltzer, according to a menu posted online. Lundmark said they have their own brand of vodka, bourbon, rum, gin and agave spirits.
Their food offerings range from juices to salads, sandwiches and entrees such as a fried fish plate and a brewery steak.
