The fast-casual Indian street food restaurant opened in a new 1,800-square-foot “jewel box” located in Alpharetta City Center’s Town Green, at 34 S. Main St., directly across from Chiringa.

“After living in Alpharetta for more than two decades, I’ve recognized the potential this concept has to be well received by the community, which consists of an intellectual and diverse demographic,” Owner Hemant Suri said in the press release. “Over the last two years, I’ve envisioned bringing Curry Up Now to life in Alpharetta. Between the mix of forward-thinking young professionals and growing Indian population, we feel this market is truly craving what we have to offer, and our team can’t wait to share its passion for Indian street food with the locals.”

Curry Up Now uses clean, locally-sourced ingredients and its other locations can be found in Decatur and Reynoldstown.

The fast-casual concept offers healthy Indian street food, including bowls, burritos, and sandwiches with ingredients typically found in Indian cuisine. Popular dishes include the Lyfebowls (paleo- and keto-friendly) that come with riced cauliflower, daal lentils, and your choice of protein, the “Punjabi by Nature” burrito with saag paneer and tikka masala, and the “Naughty Naan” with mozzarella, caramelized onions, shaved jalapenos and a choice of protein on flatbread of kulcha naan.

Curry Up Now joins a collection of 12 locally-owned restaurants at Alpharetta City Center, including Carson Kitchen and Back Alley Bar & Grill, both of which opened in 2020.

“Since its opening, Alpharetta City Center has been committed to serving as a hometown destination where local residents can build their dream businesses in their own backyard,” Alpharetta City Center Property Manager Ashley Majors said in the press release.

Curry Up Now at Alpharetta City Center is open Monday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
