Crews operating an excavator started with the space that has housed a revolving door of restaurants in recent years: the short-lived Benzino’s, Hi-Five Diner, Villains, and Little Azio.
Midtowner Aaron Sentell caught the demolition in progress and generously shared video and photos of the action with What Now Atlanta (thanks, A!)
T-Mobile, which relocated to 855 Peachtree in September 2019, will also come tumbling down.
Bulldogs Bar, which is adjacent to the T-Mobile building will reportedly be staying put, according to Owner Brent Cochran-Maddox.
The timeline for CA Ventures’ planned development going vertical is unclear, but plans call for 33 floors with 417 residences and 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail.

417 residences? Would that be condos, or apartments?
Apartments, 417 condos would just sit on the market as the construction costs would drive the prices of even a 1 br unit over $500,000.
This makes me sad
