According to a building permit application, the beauty goods store is planned for 1708 Scenic Highway. The store will be 12,500 square feet and adjacent to a cell phone repair shop.

The location is at Presidential Commons, a 375,749-square-foot retail center in Gwinnett County. Kroger and Home Depot are also located at the property.

There is an existing Ulta Beauty down the street at the Snellville Pavilion shopping center.

With more than 1,300 stores across all 50 states, all corporate-owned, Ulta Beauty is the largest beauty retailer in the U.S. (Forty-three of those locations are in Georgia.) The brand offers cosmetics, fragrances, skincare products, hair products and salon services.

Ulta Beauty is headquartered in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The company went public in 2007.
