The burger joint leased 3,300 square feet of space at 305 Brookhaven Avenue, Suite 1250, in the mixed-use development, according to Reggie.

“Owners Ernie and Diane Geyer plan to keep the same menu [and] stay involved in the community through fundraising events,” Reggie said.

Lucky’s, slated to open in late spring/early summer, will offer the Grim Reaper, a mega burger that boasts a four-pound all-beef patty, a pound of bacon, half dozen fried eggs, order of onion rings, American cheese, stacked and layered in a specially-made bun. You eat it all at one sitting by yourself, you get it free.

Lucky’s Burger and Brew Roswell manager Ted Lescher said restaurateur Pete Hussey will manage the Brookhaven location. Lucky’s is the first and only burger restaurant in the Town Brookhaven shopping center, and has the only dedicated dog-friendly patio.

Lucky’s Roswell celebrates its annual LuckyFest Saturday, April 26, benefitting Special Olympics, and will feature food and drink specials all day.

  1. Are dogs allowed on patios in Dekalb county? The restaurants at Brookhaven Station (Mellow Mushroom and Hudson) have both said dogs must remain outside of the patios because of Dekalb Country rules, not their own. Does anyone know the rules?

  2. A burger spot allowing dogs. In dekalb people sit on patios, pups on the outside. Unless service dogs.
