Torchy’s Tacos plans to celebrate its grand opening in West Midtown on Aug. 23, 2024, starting at 10 a.m. The restaurant is located at 1055 Howell Mill Road.

The first 100 guests in line on grand opening day will receive a limited-edition key chain, which will grant them a year of free green chile queso each time they bring it into the Atlanta location for a dine-in or takeout order (can only be redeemed once per day).

This will be the 126th location nationwide for Torchy’s Tacos. The fast-casual concept first began in Austin, Texas. The menu includes a variety of eclectic tacos, sides, and margaritas and signature cocktails.

“As a chef, it’s no secret to me that Atlanta is a vibrant city known for its culinary culture. Getting to bring Torchy’s award-winning queso and specialty tacos to a place like this really is special,” Torchy’s Tacos founder and CEO Mike Rypka said in a news release.

The Atlanta location is currently hiring for all restaurant positions, including cashiers, bartenders, food runners, expo, prep, grill cooks and dishwashers.
