The mixed-use tower is being constructed at 340 East Paces Ferry Road. The project is about 30 percent of the way to its eventual height of 22 stories, Urbanize Atlanta first reported.
According to Atlanta-based architecture firm Niles Bolton Associates, the tower is expected to include 483 residential units and 17,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. An amenity deck is planned for the 10th floor, with a clubroom, resort-style pool, cabanas and a grilling station with outdoor dining space.
Floor-to-ceiling glass windows will allow for expansive city views. There are also plans for more than 100 parking spaces for electric vehicles, including several that will be built specifically for Tesla cars.
The developer of the project is CA Ventures, a Chicago-based real estate investment and development firm. The company’s Atlanta portfolio also includes 903 Peachtree, an apartment building in Midtown.
The new tower is rising at the corner of East Paces Ferry Road NE and Grandview Avenue NE. It is located northeast of Buckhead Village and just south of Buckhead Exchange, a shopping center with Dancing Goats Coffee, Storico Fresco, Sephora, Tootsies and more.
The site used to contain a 1950s-era mid-rise condo complex called Paces Green, which CA Ventures purchased in 2019 with plans to redevelop the property into an upscale apartment building.
