A representative of Legacy Ventures, the hospitality group behind the development, did not immediately return a request for comment.

Though it’s unclear when the new Peri Peri Grill will open, it is listed as “Opening Soon” on the restaurant’s website.

Peri Peri Grill bills its cuisine as “Portuguese-inspired” and “flame-grilled,” with chicken taking center stage in the menu, as well as various falafel dishes, a deluxe Peri Peri beef burger, and traditional appetizers such as hummus with pita.

As the company writes on its website, “While peri peri is primarily associated with chicken,” “One of their core values is inclusivity, so they’re always expanding their menu to create options for all diets.”

As for its namesake cooking style, “Peri Peri is a seasoning and style of cuisine that revolves around the African bird’s eye chili pepper. The cuisine is bright and citrusy with a kick from the pepper.”
