Te Quiero Tacos will specialize in Mexico City-style cuisine with an emphasis on al pastor tacos. The team behind the concept is Andy Bibliowicz and Luis Perez.

Bibliowicz is a co-owner of Peoples Town Coffee Bar, which opened earlier this year.

“I live in the area and was thrilled to learn about the Terminal South development,” Bibliowicz said in a press release. “Outside of Peoples Town Coffee Bar, our neighborhood has been devoid of any restaurants or food diversity. Te Quiero Tacos is going to bring a unique, authentic and high-quality food experience to the community at an affordable price – we’re talking three tacos for $10.”

Perez, the executive chef of Te Quiero Tacos, will run the day-to-day kitchen operations. Like Bibliowicz, Perez is no stranger to the Atlanta culinary scene, having been the general manager at So Ba and Octopus Ba and partnering with restaurants like 8Arm and retailers like The Spindle.

“Being from Mexico, I can tell you firsthand that Mexican cuisine is always kind of a party,” Perez said. “You shouldn’t be in a quiet room eating tacos – it’s a community thing. At Te Quiero Tacos, people can walk up from the Atlanta BeltLine and choose to order directly from the margarita window on the patio or go inside Switchman Hall to order. Both will serve everything, but the idea is that our guests will walk up to the margarita window to grab another drink or another taco.”

The stall will be 400 square feet. The margarita window will overlook Terminal South’s patio, offering guests the option of ordering from inside or out.

The menu will include four mainstay tacos – al pastor, suadero beef brisket, grilled shrimp and roasted chicken, in addition to a vegetarian option and rotating seasonal specials. The menu will also include offerings such as stuffed flautas, elotes and shrimp ceviche. The bar program will center around fresh margaritas.

Bibliowicz told What Now Atlanta the concept is likely to open at the development in September 2024.

Terminal South features the adaptive reuse of two former warehouse structures, with approximately 45,625 square feet of mixed-use space that will include a collection of restaurants at Switchman Hall. The Stafford Properties-led development is located steps away from the Atlanta BeltLine and will be the final stop on the city’s first Bus Rapid Transit line.

Previously announced tenants for Terminal South include Smooth N Groove, Flat-Out Flatbreads, PÜR Zen Mimosa Wine Bar, DM Sliders, Tiger K Cup BobSouthern GraceThe Original Hot Dog FactoryFlower ParadiseLife BistroSabu K Ramen and more.
