The menu will feature more than 20 slider-style sandwiches. The name is a play on the pop-culture phrase “sliding into the DMs,” which is slang for sending someone a direct message (DM) via social media platforms.

Menu items will be named after the one-liner intros that DMs often contain. “R U UP” features grilled chicken breast topped with sharp cheddar, crispy bacon crumbles and house-made ranch topped with garlic butter on a locally made Hawaiian roll. A nod to a classic Philly cheesesteak, “Long Time No See” will feature shaved ribeye smothered in onions, bell peppers and provolone cheese on a locally made roll, topped with a housemade secret sauce that will be sweet and savory.

In addition to DM Sliders, Bennett and Davis are bringing Davis’ smoothie business Smooth N Groove and a new concept called Flat-Out Flatbreads to Terminal South. Davis told What Now Atlanta that the new concepts are expected to be open in the first quarter of 2024.

Bennett is also the owner of McDonough’s PÜR Zen Mimosa Wine Bar, which will be opening a full-service restaurant at Terminal South.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Lizcha and Keon’s brands to Terminal South,” Terminal South developer Melissa Ahrendt said in a press release. “Not only are they experienced operators, but their commitment to giving back to the community aligns perfectly with what we’re looking for in business owners at Terminal South. They just recently donated lunch for 100 people at the Peoplestown Reunion event and it was amazing to see them already integrating into the community a full year before they will even open.”

Terminal South is slated to open in 2024 in the Peoplestown neighborhood. The mixed-use development features approximately 45,000 square feet of space in two adapted warehouses, including a collection of restaurants making up Switchman Hall. The new food concepts join previously announced tenants, including Tiger K Cup Bob, Southern Grace, The Original Hot Dog Factory, Flower Paradise, Life Bistro, Sabu K Ramen and more.

Located steps away from the Atlanta BeltLine, the Stafford Properties-led development will be the final stop on the city’s first Bus Rapid Transit line.
