It looks like restauranteur Surin Techarukpong, who owns Virginia-Highland’s beloved Surin of Thailand, is behind the new spot. What Now Atlanta reached out, but Techarukpong was not immediately available for comment. We aren’t sure when Surina Thai plans to open, but we do know that the restaurant has already slapped its sign on the building.

Sure, it’s hot (and it’s only getting hotter), but we’ll slurp down a bowl of green or red curry any day, no matter the humidity levels. We’re on the hunt for more details about Surina Thai, if for no other reason than we’d like to put our names in for an early reservation. Stay tuned.
