Sidetracked Wine Co. will offer bottles for sale alongside in-store tastings and flights, focusing on small, family-owned wines with natural, low-intervention and organic distinctions.

Owners Cory and Malory Atkinson are well-versed in the space; they also own Elemental Spirits Co. and The Zero Co., both located on North Highland Avenue.

“We are excited to bring an elevated wine experience to Chamblee,” Cory Atkinson said in a news release. “Our vision is to create a space where patrons can explore wine and talk with our educated staff, discover new favorites, and be a familiar and welcoming place regardless if they are picking up a wine to pair with dinner or building out their cellar.”

In addition to a selection of wine options, Sidetracked Wine Co. will offer personalized wine consultations, educational tastings, non-alcoholic options and gifting services.

“Our wine selection will be a reflection of both everyday staples and limited and rare bottles with cult followings from all around the world,” general manager and wine buyer Adam Urban said. “We’re excited to create a space unique to Chamblee that makes our neighbors feel like we’re their own personal wine consultants.”

Sidetracked Wine Co. is slated to open late spring 2024.
