Anis Khani on Tuesday quietly opened Suri Mediterranean Grill in Perimeter Mall.
Suri is a “mall prototype” of the restauranteur’s original Tannour Mediterranean Grill in West Midtown, at 398 14th Street, Khani Friday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.
Tannour first opened in Setepmber 2015.
Situated in the Dunwoody mall’s food court between Chipotle and Panera, Suri Mediterranean Grill offers traditional Mediterranean fare prepared on-premise.
“All of our food is made fresh on location, from scratch, and we don’t use anything processed,” Khani said.
“We’re also environmentally friendly as our flatware and cups are eco-friendly and biodegradable.”
The Perimeter Mall Suri Mediterranean Grill could be one of many locations throughout the metro area and beyond.
Khani and his team are looking to open outposts in “prime food courts throughout the Atlanta market” in “busy areas” like downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead.

Great food! Something new and different. Service was also good. The guys obviously know their fare. Food was delicious! I hope they are successful because they need to open more franchises around the Atlanta metro area as soon as possible!
I went there today. I love this place! We have to continue supporting them cuz they are using eco-friendly flatware and cups. (No foam and chemical plastic cup here) The food is fresh and delicious. I had chicken Shawarma rice bowl. The rice is fragrant and soft with colorful healthy ones! Thank you.
