UPDATE (October 11, 2017): Sugarcoat Nail and Beauty Bar Now Open Near Chastain Park
Sugarcoat, an upscale nail and beauty bar, is expanding its Atlanta operation.
The company has plans to open in North Buckhead in the Roswell-Wieuca Shopping Center,at 4385 Roswell Road, according to a permit application this week filed with City of Atlanta.
Roswell-Wieuca Shopping Center is anchored by The Fresh Market and Ace Hardware.
An estimated $87,610 could be spent converting suite 4285, a 3,022-square-foot space, into Sugarcoat, according to the permit filing. Anticipated work to the space includes items like a partial demolition, new flooring, and paint.
Owner Peiru Kim confirmed the news in an email Wednesday to What Now Atlanta.
One of Sugarcoat’s differentiators versus run-of-the-mill nail salons is the effort to provide a sanitary experience for each guest through never-shared non-metal tool kits (nail files, buffers, toe separators, pumice stones, etc.)
With existing locations in Buckhead, Virginia-Highland, and Vinings, the new Sugarcoat would be the salon’s fourth location, according to the salon’s website.
