The health club facility will be situated in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
Los Angeles-based Barry’s Bootcamp, a fitness studio that offers classes that pair traditional boot camp-style workout routines with high-energy tunes and disco lights, has plans to open an Atlanta location.
The studio would be situated in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, according to a permit application filed with City of Atlanta last week.
Chad McOuat, the "on-site tenant coordinator" for the high-end Buckhead mixed-use development, filed the permit.
Vicky Land, director of communications and brand strategy for Barry's Bootcamp, confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta late-Thursday that the studio was coming to Atlanta, but would not provide location-specific information or additional details.
"I can confirm that we will be opening in Atlanta this fall—I’m glad there is already some buzz about us," Land said. "We aren’t ready to release any additional information at this time but will shortly..."
An estimated $365,000 could be spent on the "first generation interior buildout" of the 5,714-square-foot Barry's Bootcamp in Buckhead, according to the permit filing.
Barry’s has locations in California, Illinois, Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and Tennessee in the states, and in the United Kingdom, Norway, United Arab Emirates, and Italy internationally, according to the company's website.
