“We’re really excited to be building a new location in Cedartown,” Waara tells What Now Atlanta. “Right now we’re seeking bids for the build. We signed the contract late 2022, and we’re hoping – as long as we stay on schedule – we can open a new location there sometime in September, October time-range.”

Waara goes on to add, “This new location will be our standard, what we call Southern Charm building design, and it will have 68 seats, a drive-thru, and of course, we offer digital services like online ordering and delivery.”

Whereas many companies set their sights on national expansion, Jack’s, in its 60-year history, has opted to corner the Southern market, operating in the four-state region; Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia.

As such, in addition to the Cedartown outpost, 2023 will see the opening of eight more locations across Georgia, including Montezuma which is slated to open in April followed by Eastman a month later, McRae in August, and Douglas, Dawson, Columbus, and Albany throughout Q4.

The addresses that have been released thus far include;

Montezuma: 500 Spaulding Road, Montezuma, GA

Eastman: 5011 4th Ave., Eastman, GA

McRae: 44 West Oak St., McRae, GA

Cedartown: 329 Main St., Cedartown, GA
